"We feel incredibly lucky to have been introduced to Chris during an early job recruitment visit and we would hire him again in a second to manage the purchase of a home. Chris spent an exceptional amount of time with us (showing us neighborhoods and homes, and educating us about the local real estate market) even before we committed to moving to the Bay Area. He was knowledgeable, responsive, patient, and engaged. Chris got to know us and our priorities, perhaps better than we knew ourselves. I think pretty quickly he knew which neighborhood would be the best fit for us, and allowed us to eventually come to the same conclusion by appropriately continuing to mention the neighborhood and bringing us back. We officially entered the housing market prepared to buy during a major sellers market. Homes were selling within days substantially over asking price. Most people I spoke with had put multiple offers down (10+ at times) on homes before landing one, or still hadn't landed a home. Chris struck the perfect balance in this difficult market for buyers. He remained very grounded and calm throughout the entire process. At the same time, he recognized when fast action was required. To our amazement, Chris helped us purchase the very first home we put an offer on! He took us to an open house that occurred simultaneous with the house being listed on MLS. He helped us see the strong attributes of the location and the home, and the other opportunities that existed to make it a fantastic home for our family. Chris has very collegial relationships with other real estate professionals in the area, and I think that helped us navigate the offer successfully. With Chris's guidance, we were able to pre-empt a bidding war and buy our home! The escrow period is equally challenging and Chris ensured it was smooth sailing. We were taking advantage of fairly complicated university loan programs, and Chris's familiarity with these programs was a huge help. He connected us to all the right people and had excellent relationships with university faculty housing staff and bank staff such that communication was seamless throughout the entire process. My favorite part about working with Chris is that he takes great pride in getting his clients into the best home for them. Although it is certainly important to him to get clients into homes, it's equally important to him that they are happy in that home for years to come. He helps his clients get out of their own way when making this big life decision. He is always calm, patient, and respectful with everyone he works with, but when the time comes he is agile and practical. If you are considering a move to or within the Bay Area, I recommend Chris without reservation. Moving is an incredibly stressful life event, and Chris just makes it that much easier. It is important that you are realistic about the housing market you are in, but Chris can help you understand that and arrive at the best neighborhood and home for your and your family."

I work in real estate/mortgage brokerage strategy and talk with Realtors® from around the country. Chris is at the highest of the high. I literally can not say enough good things about him. Chris hits all the marks of how we train agents around knowing, like, and trusting. Know, we met Chris via a recommendation of department chairs at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital - Stanford as part of my wife's recruitment process to lead the new Celiac Center. So quite literally the hospital says help us bring a person here, we know housing is important, can you help these people. That's a strong recommendation right to start. Like - We had an initial consultation with Chris where he set our expectations around housing on the Peninsula. He listened, learned, and quickly translated what we loved about our home in Chicago to a location and style on the Peninsula. We established a great connection and it continued to grow. Trust - For every single question I had (and I can get super detailed when needed), Chris would not only have the answer, he would present it in a way that both my wife and I could understand, translating it from what we knew to what it would be and summarize the impact of the changes. Even better, where he didn't know, he had a terrific expert who also did the same style. Now like every buyer (and I mean every buyer even the President of real estate brokerages do this!) we picked a house that was in a different location than we talked about and a different style that we talked about. And he totally didn't kill us. He assessed what fit our original criteria, and what didn't fit, and made sure we balanced logic and emotion. And then his skill and experience kicked in. In a competitive market with a house that was listed below market value, he got the deal done. Find the house, buy the house. But wait there's more we're relocating from association living in Chicago to the foreign country of California. Chris not only helped answer all our questions (like aren't termites just part of cartoons? What do you mean I have to sign up for a water bill?) but really provided the resources to get it done. He's been our eyes and ears, checking in to ensure everything is set. I can not recommend Chris strongly enough. He is quite literally one of the best Realtors® I've ever seen and I consider myself fortunate to have worked with him."

My clients were very pleased with Chris' efforts and his professionalism in selling the property which was their parents' home and where they grew up. Chris was incredibly responsive to my requests for information and updates regarding the sale. The property was not an easy sell as the market changed during the time it was listed for sale. He targeted the staging and marketing at that buyer and that’s who we got. He suggested pricing the house higher than other Realtors® we consulted and we ended up getting hundreds of thousands more than if we had gone someone else. He was our advocate, giving us valuable feedback instead of simply trying to sell the house fast. He is the real deal, and that came through in our first phone call. I strongly recommend him!"
